Vintage French Louis XVI Style Giltwood Tete-A-Tete Settee Animal Tiger Velvet

  

Who doesn't love a sexy tete-a-tete upholstered in orange and black, tiger pattern velvet? Peeling back a corner of the dust cover shows that this is at least the second time that it has been upholstered and reveals some green paint.

The age is at least mid-century, could be a little older. Accompanied by a pair of small ottomans in the Louis XV style, measuring 10"w x 6.75"h.

Bolster pillows are 15.5"w x 6"h with handmade, gold metal tassels. Measures 35.5"h x 49.5"w x 50.5d overall. Seat height of the frame starts at 14", seat height to the top of the cushion is 17". Overall excellent condition with some wear to the fabric and small losses to the gilding.
