RARE French Antique Gilt Bronze 3-arm Louis XV Candle Wall Sconces PAIR 19thC. This is a rare pair of 3-arm ornate gilt bronze wall sconces. They have a stunning Louis XV design with scrolls. They are made of gold gilt brass. The quality is stunning and they are marked on the back with the maker's initials and also on each of the bobeches. They each have 3 arms, which will provide lots of light. These sconces have never been modified with electric wiring, and are still in their original condition, which is rare, as many of these sconces have been modified with drilled holes in the candle holders for electric wiring. They will create an amazing atmosphere when lit with candles. Width sconce: about 12 inch / 30 cm. Height sconce: 13 inch / 33 cm. Some very light wear/patina to the bronze, see the pictures.
