Pair French Chinoiserie Rococo Louis XV Bronze Ormolu Porcelain Boudoir Lamps. Today we are delighted to offer for sale a lovely pair of antique French Blanc de Chine (white china) and ormolu boudoir lamps!

These exquisite petite lamps are wonderfully crafted and detailed. The lamps, crafted in France (and stamped on the bottom accordingly) feature a bronze ormolu base with swirling candle arm adorned with repousse leaves interspersed with Blanc de Chine porcelain flowers, with coordinating leaf-motif ormolu bobeche and candlecup. The lamps are mounted with a mirrored pair of Chinese blanc de Chine Kwan Yins, each holding a lotus flower and wearing a flowing robe. The lamps feature the original giltwood candle sleeves. Both lamps are in working condition and ready to be used and enjoyed!

These lamps would look darling with delicate shades on a pretty boudoir dressing table; or anywhere where you need a whimsical touch of French Chinoiserie! Lamps present well and are in very good antique as-found condition, with very minor wear, tarnish and patina commensurate with age. Each kwan-yin figure has an old repair to the neck; there are a few small fleabite chips to figures and some flowers. Add French elegance and style to any interior with this precious pair of lamps..
