Antoine Gaudron was one of the most important and influential French clock makers as Andre Charles Boulle made the cases for most his clocks since they were mostly destined to the Royalty of Europe and the King Louis XIV who he had under his employ and financed and housed him in the Palace which he resided. He was the first French maker to use the longer pendulum. Case attributed to Andre Charles Boulle's workshop. Exceptional rare clock and was a special order for a bedroom due to the pull cord to tell.
