This is truly outstanding and a an impressive one of a kind beauty! Antique French Louie XVI Bronze 2 piece pen and inkwell desk set. In the center of the back wall is a beautiful flame finial in front of feathered arrows and a flame stick with Drape garland. Beautifully ornate all the way around the back wall and the two side walls and acorns on four corners.

See the photos it's just a gorgeous piece with beautiful details. The bass has 2 inkwells they don't detach but date spin and the same with the lid it doesn't detach but they spin their beautifully hinged lids with acorn and leaves and striking sidewalls. Depends base has in the center a gladiator a symbol of strength and wisdom surrounded by floral design.

And the front corners extended out also with The feather arrows crossing the flame stick with garland. The weathered arrows crossing the flame stick is the symbol for something I'm not sure what but it's very beautiful. Then along the front is a flower and in the center between the inkwell is an angle with a shield. All the way around the bass is an ornate design with oak leaves at the corners.

There are some dark spots and some tarnish it's up to your taste if you you want to Spruce it up but it looks wonderful actually gorgeous the way it is.

It comes with an anti tarnish quality clothe Pouch. The pouch is Black, Starr and Gorham see photos 11 and 12.
