Antique French Gilt Dore Bronze Picture Frame Louis XVI Ribbon. Antique French gilt bronze picture frame, circa 1890. With original support leg on the back.

In Louis XVI style with a pretty ribbon. The back consists of a cardboard covered with an old fabric held in place by small spikes (see pictures). It can be placed on a piece of furniture or hung on the wall with a small ring. Measures (17.5 cm x 10 cm) 6.89 in x 3.94 in and is in good condition. For the picture (12.5 x 7.5 cm) 4.92 in x 2.95 in. This is one lovely frame, very elegant in good condition.
