Antique French Gilt Bronze Louis XIV Sun King Medallion that was likely an architectural ornament for an iron gate or door, first half of the 19th century or earlier. Lovely piece that would work well as a wall mount or table decor. It has a beautiful patinated surface and is in good condition overall. General surface wear including gilt loss and oxidization, small nicks, etc.
