Antique French Bronze Nickle Plated Overdoor Cabinet Pediment Louis XVI Ornament. This is a beautiful nickle plated bronze pediment. It has a lovely design with a urn vase and lovely garlands. This pediment is quite unusual in the way it is supposed to be mounted; on top of a furniture item, such as a cabinet or a bed. This was salvaged and was probably made around the 1920s, when many bronze decorative ornaments were nickle plated here in France around the Art Deco era.

Height: about 5 1/2 inch / 14 cm. Width: about 12 1/2 inch 32 cm. Good antique condition, Some minor surface wear to the nickle plate with some bronze color coming through and some patina.
