1970's French Louis Xvi Screen / Room Divider in Gold Finished Beech and Scenery

  

The frame has a gold leaf finish in antique gold finish. The panels have been upholstered French material of a very high quality in silk with cotton, each telling a different very interesting and beautifully composed story, typical of the 19th century French narrative with garden and inside castle backgrounds, lively animals, abundant plants and flowers and people-all beautifully framed within the well-known Louis XVI guirlandes, decorative branches and luxurious curls. This room divider is made after a room divider from the 19th century. Made around the 70's, the frame has been re-finished a couple of months ago.
