Vintage French Provincial Louis XV style Tapestry Settee Chateau D'Ax Italy. Vintage French Provincial Louis XV style Tapestry Settee by Chateau D'Ax. Remarkably carved with grace and nicely scrolled settee crafted late 20th century in Milan, Italy. Featuring solid wood construction and carved floral pediment with gently bowed crest and rounded shoulders over a cushion back, leading to open arms with inset upholstered arm rests and carved hand holds, with curved supports. Raised on cabriole legs ending in whorl feet.

The piece is upholstered in exquisite tapestry fabric featuring an eighteenth century garden courting scene in muted pastel shades on a cream field and highlighted with accent nail head trimmings. Measurements: 38 tall x 46 wide x 25 deep. Fabric needs to be cleaned. This is a vintage piece and as such displays a mild level of wear from age.
