Unusual French antique pitcher with a lid displays an embossed and bright-cut portrait of Louis XVI on one side and a fleur de lis on the other side. The pitcher is also marked Louis XVI 1775. I believe the pitcher is copper with tin lining. The brass handle is secure and the hinged cover has few dings on the interior tin lining. Typical use flaws from use.

The pitcher is marked CP 14 on the underside. The pitcher has two small dents below the fleur de lis with minor dings along the base edge.

9 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" diameter at the widest point. Unusual Antique French Embossed and Bright Cut Pitcher Louis XVI 1775. I believe the pitcher is brass, copper bottom with tin lining.
