LUXURIOUS AND RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH STERLING SILVER SAUCE BOAT Circa 1870s. Dear collector, Noblesse-Collection is pleased to propose you this impressive sauce boat.

End of the 19th century. Carved : foliages , garlands of flowers and horns of abundance. Is really of a big elegance. The inside of the sauce boat is full in vermeil (fine 18k gold layer on silver) of great quality of. Very ornemental piece of art with great.

Height : 17,5 cm 6.89 in. Length : 26,4 cm 10.39 in. Width : 18,4 cm 7.24 in. This sauce boat and its tray are stamped with the French "Minerva" sterling silver hallmark (950/1000).

This piece is stamped with the mark of the famous Parisian silversmith. He practiced from 1847 in Paris, 8 petite rue Saint-Roch-Poissonnière. He is the son of Pierre-François Queillé.

He used the same silver hallmark as his fath. The QUEILLÉ family was a dynasty of Parisian silversmiths who practiced from 1808 till 1930s. In perfect condition : Fully checked and cleaned by our silversmith. (An "antique statement" of Work of Art of more than 100 years old is joined to the invoice). Noblesse Collection is based in Le Mans in France.

The firm is specialized in antique silverware. Belonging to the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. Our aim is always to surprise you at showing. They are very often ornemental and sometimes rare but always at a reasonable and accurate price.
