Offered is a fine vintage luncheon/dessert flatware service for 6 in the elegant French Régence style pattern'Soubise' by Puiforcat, circa post 1940. The pattern is similar to Puiforcat'Elysée' but features hand chased decoration going all the way down the shafts with decorative strapwork motifs in the manner of Bérain. All pieces are richly gilded over solid silver, and hallmarked with the Minerva mark for French 1st standard. 950 fine silver (higher than sterling), with the. In lozenge shaped maker hallmark for Puiforcat.

There are 6 place settings offered in this set. Each place setting comprises an entremet fork, entremet spoon, demitasse spoon, and entremet knife with solid silver vermeil blade. Demitasse spoons - 4.25. Excellent estate found condition, with minor surface scratching and signs of use commensurate with age and use.
