Pair of Antique French Oil on Canvas Portraits. Louis Hersent

  
An exquisite pair of early 19th century French paintings in frame. Each is 33" by 29" in its oval frame, and each canvas is 27" by 23". There is also writing in pencil indicating the names of the subjects, but I can't quite make out the names. Suffice to say, this pair is French nobility. His crest is pictured to his left, and she is wearing a gorgeous brooch.

Condition: there is a tear on the oil of the gentleman, and there is black tape covering it on the reverse. The frames are in very good condition, and the age of the oils is apparent when you look at the stretchers. Please note that I will use either Craters and Freighters or another professional packing service for this pair.

I won't try to pack them myself. You may also come and pick them up in Delaware, Ohio. Thanks for looking at this great antique pair.
