Today we are pleased to offer for sale a fabulous pair of antique French Rococo candelabrum! This ornate pair of candelabra is beautifully crafted and detailed.

The set is done in the opulent and ornate Louis XV Rococo style. Each candelabra is made of white brass with gilt-plate ormolu finish. The pieces have extensive rocaille decorations with beautifully swirled arms and candle cups, with foliate bobeches.

The upper part with 4 lights is removable from base, which can be used a single light candlestick. Some of the elements are stamped "DD". The candelabra are heavy (each 7lbs) and will look stunning gracing a dining table, dining room sideboard, console, or anywhere where you need regal opulence! The pair presents well and is in good antique condition, with display wear and patina commensurate with age and use.

There is tarnishing and minor oxidation, along with scattered scuffing and losses to plated finish. Each candelabra lacks a drip pan for top candle cup. There is wax residue in each candle cup. The drip pan of base candle cup in one candelabra is welded to upper arm structure. Please review all photos before purchasing.
