Outstanding & rare late 19th c french sterling silver tea / coffee set (Coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, sugar bowl). Louis XVI style (Magnificent quality decoration : handles, finials, foot). Gilded inside creamer & sugar bowl. French sterling silver mark (950 Minerve).

Emile Puiforcat silversmith (Paris since 1857) : One of the most prestigious French silversmith. Very good condition tea pot : The handle moves because a small pin is missing ; creamer : small deformation (feet), small dents ; light dents, beautiful shine. Coffee pot : height 27,3cm (10,74inch), handle-spout lenght 22,6cm (8,9inch). Capacity 1,25L (42,26Fl oz).

Tea pot : height 20,5cm (8,07inch), handle-spout lenght 24,2cm (9,52inch). Capacity 1,2L (40,57Fl oz). Sugar bowl : height 17,7cm (6,97inch), diameter (with handles) 19,4cm (7,63inch).
