Miniature French Fauteuil (Armchair) Louis XV

  
For sale is this Miniature French Fauteuil (Open Armchair) in true detail to the mid-18th century Rococo style. Beechwood frame is enameled in French blue and gilt.

Silk fabric with flowers and tiny blue check. There is water stain on seat where, in an effort to get out a slight stain, the red rose color ran-- and faintly stained the seat. It is noticeable only in that the seat fabric is not perfect as it originally was.

Made by master furniture makers in Italy. In excellent pre-owned condition with exception of flaw on seat. Height is 20" and width is 13".
