LOUIS XVI Figural Doré Bronze Crystal Covered Urn Jar Vase French Ormolu 19. This is an unusual fine LOUIS XVI Figural Doré Bronze Crystal Covered Urn Jar. Is French Glass in crystal in beautifully made form. Has a Doré bronze lid in the likeness of Louis XVI of France, with complementary fitted Doré top rim.

Has a Doré bronze base and matching ormolu mounts. Has a ribbed surface to the crystal glass jar, and an etched medallion in front. Tall x 4.2 In. Wide x 3.8 In. The estimated date is circa 1850. The antique French LOUIS XVI Figural Doré Bronze Crystal Covered Urn Jar is in very good condition- it is noted that the bronze fitments have not been polished.

Condition status includes normal losses and flaws from the making, and normal wear and rubbing. Overall, the work is sound, having no chips, cracks, or major defects, and having had no apparent repairs or restorations.
