Louis Vuitton Nickel Plated Art Deco Table, circa 1920s STUNNING

I imagine that Vuitton, who in 1913 had opened a grand store on the renowned Champs-Elysees in Paris, created this table to coincide with the 1925 Paris Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes , widely recognized as the birthplace of Art Deco. The exhibition was designed to show the world that Paris was the most fashionable, luxurious and tasteful city of all.

Characterized by its use of luxurious materials, superb craftsmanship and simple shapes, Art Deco was born out of the rapid industrialization of the interwar period. It celebrated the age of the machine and was assertively modern. You can be one of the very few individuals in the world to own this rare and distinctive object dart by. Named the world's most valuable luxury brand from 2006 to 2012. How rare is this masterpiece?

I searched the web extensively and found only three. Dibs a short time later. Both dealers listed the exact same product description which claimed the table was created. To decorate the coaches of the Orient Express in 1930. I think its reasonable to assume those two tables are one in the same so one other table base.

This gorgeous cast iron table was nickel-plated and has black accents in the nooks and crevices that provide a striking contrast. If youre interested in a matching Black Galaxy granite tabletop, like the one in the pictures, let me know.

Picture # 10 shows how this table base, shown on the left, differs from my other LV nickel plated table up for sale. There is a subtle difference as they were plated at different plating shops.

I only took one table base to the nickel plater. I wanted to be sure I was happy with the finished product before I had both tables finished. Well the table turned out great but when I went back to have the 2nd base plated the company had gone out of business so this base was plated at a different shop. It also looks great but it is not identical to the other table I have for sale.

They're very similar but theyre not the exact same finish. I don't think that anyone would notice but I felt it fair and share this information up front to anyone who may have been considering getting both. Its time to let someone else enjoy this exquisite Louis Vuitton masterpiece.
