Louis Philippe Gilt Bronze and Alabaster French Candlesticks Candleholder Set

  
This pair of Louis Philippe candlesticks is extremely elegant and well made. The pair consists of a bronze base with an alabaster piece and a sculpted and scrolled riser, topped with an alabaster drip piece and then the holder with a separate bobeche. The candle holders are in very good condition for their age and have the following flaws: both have new nuts on the bottom holding all pieces together.

One of the drip pieces has a chip as shown in the last photo. There is some slight play in one of the holders this can be tightened with the nut but has not been attempted.
