LARGE PEDIMENT RAM'S HEAD DECOR LOUIS XVI STYLE ERA 19TH SIGNED FOURNIER BRONZE. Superbe and large pediment Louis XVI style. Manufacture second half of the 19th. Original gilding, very good condition (some small stains without gravity). The central part is decorated with a ram's head.

Decor with acanthus leaves, ribbons, oak branches and windings. Very nice quality of the decoration and carving. It's signed: Fournier (see last photo).

Pierre-Émile Fournier was a student of Barye, Rouillard and Frémiet. He exhibited at various expositions, between 1864 and 1892.

Careful packaging ensured (double protection).
