LARGE PAIR OF TORCHES SCONCES LOUIS XVI STYLE BRONZE & GLASS. Very beautiful pair of large sconces at torches Louis XVI style. Of the second half of the 20th. Original gilding, superb condition with a beautiful shine; note, a small stain on a sconce (see last photo). The wall part is decorated with a torch and ribbons. The sconces are decorated with acanthus leaves and pine cones. Very good manufacturing quality, the chasing is fine. Tulips, in molded glass, translucent color. Note (see penultimate photo): glass shards on the neck of the 2 tulips (but not visible when they are installed on the sconces as you can see in the many photos); also, one of the tulips is not original and was sheared at the neck so that it could be positioned on the sconce (tulip'2'); for assembly, a number allows you to differentiate the tulip for each sconce. Electricity installed and tested, new wires and sockets.
