French St Louis Pressed Flint Glass Diamond Bevels Pattern Sugar Sucrier Circa 1840. 19th century French pressed flint glass sugar / sucrier. The pattern is pictured on page 40 of the Launay & Hautin catalog from 1840. Launay & Hautin were a retailer for Baccarat and other French glass manufacturers. The pattern is described as St Louis Diamants Biseux which translates to Diamonds Bevels.

One of the diamond points has a chip, and there is a small chip to the bottom edge of the lid finial. Measures approximately 4 3/8 inches wide x 7 inches tall to the top of the lid finial. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
