It is mahogany with an intricately. Inlaid marquetry top consisting of a leaf and floral motif over a background of burled elm, rosewood, and "tiger" mahogany with an ogee beveled edge and a bronze beaded trim. The apron and legs have a pencil inlay and the curved legs and feet are decorated with bronze ormolu.
