French Louis XV Style Cabriolet Armchair

  

An early 20th century cabriolet armchair in the style of Louis XV. This piece dates to the first half of the 20.

It is in very good condition with serviceable upholstery. There are nominal old impression marks to the frame but nothing to detract from chairs charm and appeal. The armrests are open and elevated from the seat, and are sculpted independently of the armchair, making it light and easy to move. The seat of the chair is wide, a design feature to accommodate for larger dresses. Facing the chair, the two front legs are turned outwards.

The front of the seat is curved outwards, and the armrests are very open, styled to resemble a crossbow. The back is concave to hug the body, allowing for extreme comfort.
