An antique Louis XIV period tabouret, stool, or bench, in carved gold gilt wood with straight baroque legs, flower, foliate, and ribbon designs, a curved X-stretcher base; reupholstered 20th-C with brass hobnail trim and peach velvet. 15.5"x15.5"x19. Faint marks to the upholstery. The underside shows age of construction, wood, wormholes.
