We are happy to offer for your consideration this beautiful crystal and glass French chandelier. Often called cage or spider chandeliers because of their shape. This chandelier has all the shabby chic beauty of the French countryside. Originally made of either brass or bronze underneath it was top coated with a silver metallic paint.

The four arms are made to hold candles but could be rewired to hold a lightbulb. All of the leaf shaped crystals are in excellent condition.

The center bobbin is out of solid glass and all of The small flowers are out of pressed glass as well. All of this Pete the pieces of this chandelier are either glass or crystal none are made out of plastic. Each of the crystals is attached by loose metal wiring. This piece could either be left as it is with a shabby chic look, or restored to its original brass finish with restrung and tied crystals. Either way it will make a lovely conversation piece.
