Trunk, Antique Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk / Chest / Luggage - Brass, Leather, Wood - 19th century. A huge solid leather Vuitton with solid brass fittings and copper rivets stamped, and to the lock stamped Louis Vuitton as expected.

From my knowledge and understanding it was custom made, hence the unusual style of latch, more in line with the explorer design. Also, having small brass pin decorations and details. Beautiful original condition inside and out. Missing one side handle, the other is loose, but can rest in position to where it was once attached as the photo shows.

Marked as seen in the photographs, nevertheless in good condition with allot of character and provenance, including label, and stamped hardware. A superb luxury interior item. Please see photographs carefully for the details.
