Sublime silver mixed with iridescent Mother of Pearl ready to grace your table. An antique French sterling silver flatware for twelve with Mother of Pearl knives. A ten piece service of twelve place settings made of fine sterling silver contained in an antique oak layer box. Included in the set are 2 large serving spoons and 8 demitasse spoons.

The set weights 5,486 grams or 176 troy ounces without the knives. The weight of the knives is not included in the total weight since they are made of mixed materials. Beautifully decorated with banded cross ribbon edges, small bows, and bell-flowers.

Very impressive knives bear acanthus leaves with bay leaf swags on the ferrules. The set is marked Lappara & Gabriel (LG) A monogram for "W" graces almost every piece.

The set has had pieces added over time. Eight of the coffee spoons are monogrammed for "CV" while four bears the initials "SB". One dessert spoon is not monogrammed. Although a few pieces may have different monograms; it remains a full service for.
