Master silversmith in Paris, was located in the rue de la Tour between 1832 and 1840. Hallmark, along with the makers mark, allows this coffee pot to be dated between the years 1838 and 1840, during the reign of King. It is in very good condition with the exception of faint scratches, very tiny superficial dents, a very small chip on the wooden handle and some darkening on the interior, not unusual for a piece that has been around for 180 years.
