Original 19th Century Antique French Louis Philippe Overmantle Wall Mirror Rustic Highly Distressed Frame Original Glass & Original Wooden Backboards. Size: 60.5cm x 48.5cm. The frame is in good, sound order with a few old, fine hair cracklines. No major losses to the mouldings. The paintwork has been rubbed back and has an attractive rustic, heavily distressed appearance, with a combination of the original gold paint with beautiful age spotted patina and some highlights of more recently added paint.

The glass is original and in very good order with no chips or misting - it is just very subtly foxed with occasional clear/light age spots. The wooden backboards are original and are sound and secure. The metal hooks to thread your hanging cord through are strong and secure. Ideal for hanging or leaning.
