This marvelous antique Art Nouveau French hand painted vase is created in gorgeous peach and gold enamel on bronze. This beautiful miniature vase with a flared neck and bulbous bottom that sits on a pedestal, depicts a gentleman portraiture from the French court of Louis XVI with a tri-corner hat, long red coat with silver westcot, brown breeches and elegant stocking, all while strolling in a pastoral setting, complete with finely executed trees and landscape. The surface reflects iridescence with the many bright colors hand painted on this exquisite vase and is signed ViPS. The style and technique is similar to those vases produced by Limoges. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=3-3/4 inches, Diameter at widest=2 inches, Depth=1-1/2 inches.
