Offering a stunning French Grand Sonnerie repeating Carriage clock with an alarm. This stunning clock is in pristine condition.

It has a stunning raised face with distinctive arabic numbers , and an alarm set dial in the same style. The antique white of the dial is offset by an elegant gold surround. The hands are delicate, and the hour hand is in the shape of a Fleur-de-lis. There is a small brass button on the top of the clock.

When it is pushed the clock strikes the hour. It was a wonderful advanced feature of its time so if one awoke in the night with just a push of the button they knew the hour. The gold finish of the clock frame is bright and high gloss and is stunning.. The clock will be a stand out wherever it is placed. The gold finish of the clock frame is bright and high gloss and is stunning. It is an 8 day winding mechanism. The clock works and the bottom are elegantly marked in a beautiful scroll writing that indicate the function of the winding stems.
