Pair of late 19th century French bisque porcelain figurines depicting a young couple in intricately detailed, colourful dress, both with pensive, almost mournful facial expressions. Marked LP to the base. Several cracks and small chips to base; crack to underside of skirt; hairline crack to skirt crease; small black mark on neck; repair to head bow. Small chips to rim of base; tiny discolouration on right sock; chip to left side of jacket edge; missing index finger on right hand; small black marks on inner sleeve; tiny chip to pocket corner; hairline cracking to elbow.
