Antique 22 1/2 French Louis Leon Prieur perfect doll, original body

  
This gorgeous French doll is marked on the back of her head: MON CHERI, LP, PARIS, 10. Her face is factory produced with painted feathered eyebrows, big brown glass set eyes with lashes all around and an open mouth with six molded teeth. She has ears pierced into her head and wears replaced "pearl" earrings. Her head is perfect with no repairs and no overpaint. There is a surface line in the back above the right ear but it doesn't go into the porcelain and does not appear on the inside. Her head is strong and beautiful. She's on her original body that's in great condition. It has been repainted and restrung, it has no damage. It had a speaker inside at one time but it's no longer there.

She wears beautiful silky French style clothing with lots of lace. Her slip, knee socks and one strap buttoned shoes are original. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper, her styrofoam pate is lightly attached and her vintage wig is simply pinned to the pate. This is an exceptionally nice doll.
