An Antique French Louis XV Kidney Table With Parquetry And Ormolu Bronze C. 1920

  
A pretty antique French kidney table, with ormolu bronze, and a marble top. The table has a kidney form, the red marble top is surrounded by bronze, the 4 legs has on top 4 high quality ormolu bronze with leaf decoration, and on the bottom only 2 high quality ormolu bronze with plants decoration. I think it is missing 2 ormolu bronze, but from the 2 back legs. The top border of the table has inlaid parquetry, with mahogany and rosewood veneers. All the 4 legs are made from mahogany wood. I clean all this table, and did French polishing to it.

Using shellac, alcohol and pumice (nothing chemicals). The red marble top is made from a very thin French marble, there was a vertical crack in it, but I restored it and polished it. I believe it is hard now to identify this crack.

From the bottom it is stamped (made in France). It is a high quality table, with high quality parquetry and bronze. H : 19 3/4 inches (50 cm).

W : 26 inches (66 cm). D : 14 inches (36 cm).

The table stand tight and in good condition compared to its age.
