A Framed French Neoclassical Louis XVI Style Wallpaper Panel, 19th Century

  
The panel is under glass in a Neoclassical style vintage delicate giltwood frame measuring 46 x 25 inches. The paper panel is in good antique condition with nothing exceeding the usual degree of spots of wear and expected losses here and there on sees in anitique wallpaper samples even in many museums... Climate stains are most noticeable along the left area from the centre panel. However the panel, being legitimately an antique example of fine papier peint, continues to be admirably decorative. Please note that many similar examples of wallpaper from this period on view in museums and historic houses are also often left unrestored but retain a great deal of charm.
