6 Antique Plates French Transferware Ironstone Set LONGWY LOUIS XVI Aesthetic. A beautiful set of 6 dark blue / petrol transferware ironstone or faience pottery plates. They are decorated a lovely botanical, floral and musical scene. They are made by the famous Longwy pottery makers and the pattern is called Louis XVI. This set was made in the late 19th century, inspired by the style of the Aesthetic movement.

Diameter plate: about 9 1/4 inch / 23.5 cm. Good antique condition, no chips, cracks or restores, but there are surface scratches and some crazing and stains to the glaze from old age, see the photos. Flower and the plate stands are not included. We are based in France and offer a lot of European antique and vintage items.
