Beautiful table / mantle clock. Made in France in the 19th century in Louis XV style.

Beautiful ormolu bronze with the original patine colour. The clock stands on 4 beautiful decorated bronze ormolu legs. Beautifully fully decorated with typical French Louis XV decorations. The movement is recently cleaned and checked by a professional clockmaker. It is in working order. It comes complete with pendulum, winding key and bell. The movement is stamped : S.

Marti et Cie médaille de bronze 1860. This was in the 19th century a very famous French movement making company. They have made many movements. The enamel dial shows Arabic numbers.

It is an 8-day movement that strikes every half and whole hour. It is a heavy clock, heavy quality bronze. CM: 37 cm high x 13 cm deep x 18 cm wide. INCH: 14.5 inch high x 5 inch deep x 7 inch wide.

Condition: The clock has it original bronze ormolu patine colour on it. The movement has been checked and cleaned by a professional clockmaker.
