19TH Antique French 6 Arms Gilded Wood & Alabaster Chandelier Ceiling Louis XVI

  

A gorgeous French 19th century Louis XVI st. The six arms, nine lights chandelier is centered by an exceptional and most decorative bottom Alabaster dome illuminated by three interior lights and showcasing the beautiful veins. Each of the elegantly curved arms branches out from a beautiful wrap around mottled berried laurel band and display fine scrolled designs, Greek keys, richly carved acanthus leaves, and lovely fluted bobeches and candle cups.

The tied ropes with ball reserves lead upwards to a charming tassel and richly carved acanthus leaf designed canopy. Nice antique condition consistent with use and age, vintage electricity OK, very few missings on the gilded wood, restorations (photo 2). H: 33.5 in L: 25.5 in D: 25.5 in.
