Front and rear paste-down accompanied with gilt fleurons. And tobacco brown Moirée silk with gilt floral motives. Free endpapers also accompanied by tobacco brown Moirée silk with gilt floral motives. With Two Engraved Title Pages.

Engraved Frontispiece & 3 Engraved Plates with Biblical motives. Drawn and engraved by Louis Joseph Hallez. Tours, Alfred Mame et Fils, 1862.. Brown leather binding with a two ornamental brass clasps. Gilt decorations to the boards and spine, gilt title to the spine.

Spine with five raised bands. 14,6 x 10,5 cm (5.75" x 4.15"). Collation complete - Engraved title page, [1], Frontispiece , Chromolithograph title page, Title page.

[7], 354 pages, with 3 b&w engraved plates. Full leather binding is tight and firm, overall in very good condition. Little rubbed and bumped, with some surface scuffings, spine extremities little chipped. Brass clasps fully functional and well preserved, with little patina only. Pages/Text block in very good condition, very bright and clear, with occasional light foxing dots. No marks throughout, minor tanning/yellowing. Overall the condition of the book is VERY GOOD.
