Antique Louis XVI French style ornate gilt brass or bronze picture frame

  
This is a lovely antique Louis XVI style gilt over brass or bronze small picture frame. It is marked K&O Co. On the back for Kronheimer & Oldenbusch Co. They were in business from 1899 to 1939 and made pieces like this in the early 1900s.

It is is good condition for its age but it does have some normal surface wear to the patina and there are scratches on the back of the frame inset piece. It has an old print in it which is quite lovely itself, but I can see that there is some surface damage to the print, although it still displays well and has a lovely look to it. The frame has glass in it.

It was designed to be hung on the wall. It is 4 3/4" long and is 2 1/4" wide at its widest part. Most of my items are used, vintage or antique and come directly from estate auctions.
