Gorgeous antique French sterling silver 8.5 tall coffee or tea pot with ornate Rococo or Louis XV styling, foliate decoration & spiral fluting and wonderful condition! Another beautiful old French sterling piece just in from France. A bit smaller than the full sized coffee pot, we're calling it a'duet' since it's not really as small as the solitaire pots we've had in the past. Standing 8.5 in height and it holds roughly 24 fluid ounces (I'll double check the capacity and confirm as quickly as possible). It bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within means it's in.
950 silver 95% pure and higher than the. 925 standard for "sterling" silver. Very good to excellent condition. I see no dents, damage or repairs to note. Thick, heavy old French sterling silver and as visually impressive as they come!
