Antique French Saint Louis Acid Etched Cameo Glass Perfume Bottle Gilt Accents
An antique French Saint Louis acid etched cameo glass perfume bottle. Decorated with gold gilt accented floral garlands and ribbon bows on an intricate acid etched textured surface. Topped with a faceted cut stopper. The stopper is engraved at the base with a number to correspond to matching numbers found on the bases of the bottle, indicating the stopper is original. Retains a Saint Louis label on the base. Like Baccarat, the Saint Louis cristallerie marked their early wares with a paper label prior to their acid etched branding and these old paper labels were often lost, washed away or worn with time.
