Beautiful 1890s Lantern In the Louis XV style with all the beautiful embellishments of the period , including the remarkable chain , ornate canopy and bobeches (where the candles or lightbulbs rise from) on the three branches. The Lantern was disassembled and re gilt about 20 years ago. The glass is flawless , the measurements are aprox 35" from ceiling , X aprox 11.5 " wide. A lovely piece of history , still extremely usable today. JUST FOUND 18 of original chain , will be included.
